Seamos serviciales

I'm three days into my commitment to blog every day, and I'm already one day behind. (I blogged on Day #2 on my Cellomom5 blog.) Yesterday I spent being Florence Nightengale to poor Kate. I've never seen somebody so sick with the flu in my life. I wanted to take her to the emergency room more than once. Thank goodness she is feeling better today;she is in the shower as I write. We are hoping that the rest of us stay healthy so we can carry out our long-planned weekend to NYC and the Yankee game.

I took Laura and some other young women to the Bishop's Storehouse this morning at 7:30 AM, about a 1 1/2 hour drive at that hour. I was supposed to stay and help too, but decided my service needed to be to my still very weak daughter here at home. Laura wasn't very anxious to go, but I could tell that the spirit of service was perking her up very quickly once she arrived there.
Later: Looks like she had a great time!
