This has been the month of Emma. Boy, has it! I'm going to let her speak for herself:
~In Sacrament meeting on the first Sunday in December, after the opening prayer, Emma asked Marie, "Why do we say 'Amen'?" Marie said, "It's to say 'good job' and we agree with what they said". Later in the meeting, Adam bore his testimony. After he closed and everyone else said "Amen", Emma yelled, "GOOD JOB, DAD!!!"
~At dinner one night, Adam served Emma a slice of chicken. She snuggled up to him, laid her head on his shoulder and lovingly said, "Dad, you're my chicken guy".
~ Another night at dinner, Adam was choosing someone to say the prayer.
Adam: "I'm thinking of someone who danced a lot today"
Emma: "ME!"
Adam: "And someone who is really cute"
Emma: "ME!"
Adam: "And someone who demanded lots of mommy's attention today"
Emma: "NOT ME!" (Just that fast too!)
Oh, Emma, we love you!
