An experiment...

Many times I'll go into a store and see something that one of my grandchildren would like, but I don't buy it. Typical thought process: "Wouldn't Spencer love this?!! But if I get it for him, I should get something for Emma and Maddie and Daniel and Ryan and Harrison too." So I don't buy it.
But recently I had a brilliant idea. I'll assign each grandchild a month. When I see something during the month that the child of the month would like, I'll buy it with delight, knowing that the other grandchildren will have his/her turn soon. What do you think?
This month is the month of Maddie. Here is one of my fave pix of her. Isn't she beautiful?!!!

I'll never forget Andy's second Christmas. As an only grandchild and lover of horses, his poor grandparents went crazy!!! He was totally decked out in cowboy garb at only one -- bouncy horse included. Sometimes, it's just hard to say no!
